Reception: The reception is located on the ground floor. Turn left then you enter the building. The reception is open between 16.00 and 22.00 and also houses a small shop selling beer, wine, soda and a small selection of sweets and toiletries. 

Free parking: We offer free parking for our guests in the yard in front of the main building. Bicycles can be locked in the shed. 

WiFi: Of course, We provide free WiFi. In all rooms and lounges you will find information about what router provides the best signal plus alternatives if too many people are using the same router. 

A spacious garden: Behind the main building you will find a garden with benches, swings and a trampoline. Please note that children are playing at the parent’s responsibility. 

Barbecue: In the garden and the front yard you will find three iron pyramids for use with disposable barbecues. These can be bought at most supermarkets or at the reception. The Otel does not sell food for the barbecues.  

Patio and balcony: Both the patio and the balcony are facing the Otel garden. The ground floor patio allows you to have your breakfast outside if the weather permits and to enjoy the evening sun. The first-floor balcony provides a good view of the surrounding area. Please note that this balcony also work as our smoking area. 

Coffee and tea:  At Otel Vaabensted you can make yourself a free cup of tea or coffee at any time. In the breakfast restaurant and in the guest kitchen you will find a coffee station with coffee, tea, milk and sugar.  

Lounge areas: If you want to relax indoors on a chilly or rainy day you can spend some time in one of our lounges. On the ground floor is a partitioned room with sofas and tables. Here you can read a book or play a game with your family or friends. At the end of the hallway, you will find shelves with books, comics and games. Upstairs next to the exit to the balcony is another sitting area. Guests are of course welcome to use the breakfast room for meals after 10.30.  

Televisions for streaming: In the lounges both on the ground floor and upstairs you can find televisions that allow you to stream from your own mobile device. We have guests of many nationalities, so it is impossible to provide channels that satisfies the needs of everybody. By streaming from one’s own device it becomes possible to bring along one’s own favourite channels when travelling. But remember that you have neighbours so show consideration.   

Guest kitchen: Upstairs, to the right of the main stairs you can find a kitchenette for basic cooking. The kitchenette provides a small oven and a microwave oven. 

Smoking area: The upstairs balcony is the Otels smoking area. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. That of cause includes the rooms and bathrooms. The Otel does not sell cigarettes.
